PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, March 11. The Mayor of Pahiatua (Air J. IX Wilson) has opened a subscription list to augment the crippled children fund. Miss Al. Beech, of Alangahao, left on Saturday for a holiday to be spent at Alastertoii and Wellington. Airs T. Riddell, of Palmerston North, and a former well-known resident ot Pahiatua, is a patient of tlio Palmerston North Hospital. Aliss Alice Anderson, of Eketahuna, will leave by the Wanganella on Thursday for Sydney and join tlio Straithard for a visit to England and the Continent. Mr C. Newman underwent an operation in tlio Pahiatua Hospital on Saturday.
