ANNUAL CONFERENCE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 12. The annual conference of the Federnation of New Zealand Justices of the Peace was opened this morning, Mr Arthur Rosser, of Auckland, presiding. After the official welcome from the city by the Mayor (Rev. E. T. Cox) it was resolved to send a message to the federation’s patron, Lord Bledisloe, much regretting his departure, the president making warm reference to His Excellency’s services. A Wellington remit, that the olhee of the federation and registrar be located in the Capital City, was lost. The question of requesting the Govnior-elect, Viscount Galway, to accept the office of patron ivas left to the executive. _ r The delegates visited the Medical School this afternoon.
