POSITION IN AUSTRALIA

An immediate medical investigation into disease among natives was urged by Mr H. D. Mosley, Royal Commissionar, who inquired into aboriginal questions. Mr Mosley’s report says the control of the rapidly increasing number of lialf-caste children is liopelesslv inefficient. In certain parts of the north relations between white men and aboriginal women exist to a degree which are as amazing as they are undesirable.
