SALVATION ARMY.
ADJUTANT RADCIFFE PROMOTED AVord has been received in Feilding that- Adjutant E. Radcliffe, officer in charge of the local corps of the Salvation Army, has been promoted to the rank of major. Major Radcliffe has been away on holiday, but was expected to return last night. Lieutenant Irlul, of Feilding, who was recently commissioned after undergoing a period of training in the Salvation Army Training School and who was appointed to Raetihi, is reported to be making excellent jsl'o- - with her work.
