INCIDENT AT CEREAIONY

While the presentation of a Savings Bank book containing £ll and an attache case was being made on Saturday by Itavensbourne residents to Leslie Todd, who gallantly rescued a boy from drowning in December, a four-year-old boy fell into the harbour and was rescued by Miss Cora Jarvis, aged 18. She dived in fullyclothed. The rescue was witnessed by a large crowd.
