The great volume of traffic now being borne by Railway Road, leading to Feilding, was stressed by Or. W. G. Shannon at to-day’s meeting of the Kairanga. County Council, the speaker urging that steps be ta.lcen to have the route declared a main highway with a view to having the surface tar sealed. It was decided to press the urgency or the matter with tho Highways Board.
