Atter an enjoyable match West End won by 16 sets and 175 games to 8 sets and 149 games. Following are tho results, the Sandon players being mentioned first: —Men’s singles: S. Kent beat A. Ronbcrg, 9 —5; Aiken lost to Loudon, 4—9; Matthews lest, to Taplin, I—9; Hammond lost to Reichcnbacli, 6 —9; Murphy beat F. Ronbcrg, o—3 ; Lumsdcn lost to McEwen, 6 —9. Ladies' singles: Miss Sanson lost to Miss Blake, 37; Mrs Bowater lost to Mi.s Waters, 4 7; Mbs Mattiiews lost to Mrs Scblioriko, 3 —7; Miss Gcdyo lest to Miss MeEwcn, I—7;1 —7; Alias Adams lost to Miss Rogers, 3—7; Mrs Lawrence lost to Miss Andrews, 7—9. A team comprising members of the Sanson and Bulls Cricket Clubs played Flock House at .Bulls on Saturday and after an enjoyable game defeated them by 57 runs in a one innings match. The combined team batted' first and Meads scored well to make 40. Reeve and O’Connell also batted well for 27 and 26 respectively. Howling for Fleck House, Cowern, Gocdall and Campbell shared the wickets. Flock House found the bowling of the combined team difficult and failed by 57 runs to reach their opponents’ total.
