GLEND INNING CUP SERIES. Having freshened up after the rain, the greens and fairways were in splendid order at Hokowhi.tu at the weekend when the Glendinning Cup series of matches were advanced a further stage by the Manawatu Golf Club by the playing of a medal handicap. The best card was that of Eames, who returned a card of 68 after the deduction of his handicap. J.F. Rodden followed with a 76 gross, which gave him a net 70. _ The leading scores were: —Eames, 84 14 —68; J. F. Rodden, 765 —70; A. Seifert, 79—8—71; L. F. Speechley, 85 —12—73; E. G. Seeker, 91 —18 —<3; A. E. Guy, 75—scr—75; IV. E. Winks, 66 —8—75; N. H. Sinclair, 88 —12 —76; C. Lnuisson, 86—10—76; C. Morgan, 95—18—77.
