WELLINGTON EASTER SHOW.
The Wellington Easter Show and Industrial Exhibition is to bo hold from April 10 to 24. The managcnient of this show stands high among exhibitors of all classes of stock for the very fine accommodation and attention provided, and exhibitors send their animals with every confidence that they will bo met at the station and well looked after. Iwo handsome challenge cups are to bo competed for one in the needlework and the other in the’ cooking section, besides cash prizes, thus making it worth while for every housewife to show her ability in cooking and solving. A now item on the programme is the parade of children’s pets. In one show in Australia 500 pets were paraded by children from two to eighteen years of age. and included ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, kangaroos, wallabies, rats, mine, ferrets, bears, monkeys and guinea pigs. Entries for all classes close on March 23, and schedules may now he obtained on application to the manager, Box 1223, Wellington.
