LOAN INTEREST.
AUSTRALIA’S SAVING. Received January 18, 8.5 a.m. CANBERRA, Jan. 17. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons), expressing gratification at the favourable terms of tlie conversion loan, declared that the London conversions arrange! through the High Commissioner (Mr S. M. Bruce) since October, 1932. had amounted to £146,835,000, while the annual savings in interest and exchange had aggregated £2.908,000.
