AVIATION’S PART.
UNITING AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. Prior to his departure from Sydney with Mr H. C. Walker, SquadronLeader AlcGregor gave an interview in which he said that the welcomes extended even to those who did not win the race were many and wonderful. In fact, the social side had been as great an ordeal to face as the race itself. Both he and Mr Walker would always remember the wonderful hospitality of the Australian people. “I hope that the future will bring Australia and New Zealand closer’ together,” he said. “Aviation has done this for other parts of the world, and I believe that a regular service between these two great Dominions is certain in the future.”
