MEAT RESTRICTIONS
FEDERAL CABINET DISCUSSIONS. CONFERENCE BEING CALLED. WITH ADVISORY BOARD. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received November 13, 8.5 a.m. CANBERRA, Nov. 13. The Federal Cabinet lias discussed the proposed restriction for two months of Australian exports of beef and veal to the United Kingdom. The Government’s opposition is evident, but it feels the position could be clarified by securing expert knowledge and opinions of the industry. ' Dr. Earle Page is calling the Meat Advisory Board to a conference at Canberra as soon as possible. In view of the likelihood of Western Australia desiring to be represented, it is improbable that the conference will be' held earlier than the beginning of next week.
