FLIGHT POSTPONED. SYDNEY, Nov. 12. Owing to unfavourable weather reports, Hewett and Kay are not attempting the Tasman flight to-morrow. They may leave on Wednesday. ADVERSE REPORTS. ON WEATHER CONDITIONS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 12. Adverse weather reports have resulted in a postponement of the flight from Australia to New Zealand which was to have been made to-morrow by Squad-ron-Leader J. D. Hewett, Flying-Officer C. E. Kay, and Mr F. Stewart, of Auckland. A private message from Mr Hewett states: “Warned against flight to-morrow; Wednesday hopeful.” Weather forecasts were forwarded to the Auckland party by Dr E. Kidson (Government Meteorologist). He will send further reports to-morrow and if these are favourable it is likely that the fliers will take off from Richmond at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, New Zealand time, in their De Havilland Rapide. The flight is expected to occupy nine hours.
