ACCIDENT CASES.
INJURY TO MOTOR CYCLIST. As the result of a collision between the motor-cycle he was riding and a car driven by Mr V. D. Fraser, of Karere, on the main road near Karere last night, shortly before 11 o’clock, Mr J. Walker, of 52 Coley Street, Foxton, was taken to the Hospital by the Free Ambulance suffering from a fractured right leg. It was reported by the Hospital authorities to-day that he had spent a good night.
MISHAP AT OHAKEA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Nov. 12. A young man, Patrick Hazelwood, who lives about three miles from Bulls on the Bulls-Sanson Road, mot with injuries on Friday evening in a collision with a motorcycle ridden by Mr M. A. Gibbs, of Alton, who was proceeding towards Sanson. The time was shorlly after 7 p.m., and how the collision occurred is not known. Mr Hazohvood was picked up and conveyed to a doctor in Bulls, where he received attention before being taken to the Palmerston North Hospital. The unfortunate man’s injuries consist of broken ribs, and his hand and arm w’ero also bruised. Some months ago Mr Hazelwood was injured in a collision with a motor car near the same spot, and be was an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for a time as a result.
