NOVEMBER BOGEY,
The November bogey handicap engaged tlie attention of the members of the Manawatu Golf Club at Hokowliitu on Saturday, when the fast nature of the course played a part towards the return of good cards. Following are the detailed results: A. Grade. —W. R. Beattie, 2 up; A. E. Guy, N. J. Ellison, E. J. Trehey and E. W. H. Drew, all square; P. G. Tizard, 1 down; T. Stubbs, C. G. Moore and G. M. Louisson, 2 down. B. Grade.—H. Colson, 2 up; H. R. Cooper, square; W. Lindsay, I down; W. J. Knights, 2 down. MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE.
After a keen struggle between E. J. Trehey and H. Swindell in the final of the middleweight championship at ths week-end, the former won, the game being decided upon the home green. B. AND A. CUP FINAL. The final of the B. and A. Cup was also played at the week-end, when A. Ashby and K. C. Clayton met. The former played consistently steady golf and eventually won 3 up and 1 to play. Playing to the 17th, Ashby was dormy two and, with his opponent being off the line with his drive, he was able to finalise the position.
