LUCKNOW RECALLED.

HONOURS FOR VETERAN

CALCUTTA, Nov. 10. Military honours were accorded Mr Frederick Lincoln, a survivor of the siege of Lucknow, whose death occurred here. Mr Lincoln was a well-known lawyer and was born at Lucknow in 1855. He was under three years of age when the Residency was besieged, his father being District Judge of Sitapur. Mr Lincoln’s death leaves Mr A. G. Oampagnac, of Calcutta, the only Lucknow siege survivor in India. Of eight others six are in England, one in British Columbia, and one, Sir Ralph G’ouper, in Australia
