(From Our Own Correspondent.) ICAIRANGA, Nov. 10.

Last Tuesday afternoon the ladies of the Tennis Club played a friendly match against the Kopane ladies on the private court of Mr and Mrs K. Thompson. After some very evenly contested games Kopane proved to bo the winners by 6 sets to 6. Afternoon tea was served by the Kopane ladies. Details are as follow, Kopane players being mentioned first:—Singles: Miss S. Parsons beat Mrs 0. Collis, 6 —5; Mrs Burrell beat Miss E. Green, 6 —4; Miss E. Boddy beat Miss D. Capp, 6 —l; Miss M. Mitchell beat Miss J. Eglinton 6 —3; Miss D. Boddy lost to Miss O. Green, 2—6; Miss G. Parsons lost to Mrs H. Turner, 3 —6. Doubles: Miss S. Parsons and Mrs Burrell lost to Mrs 0. Collis and Miss E. Green, 3—6; Misses E. Boddy and M. Mitchell beat blisses J. Eglinton and D. Capp, 6—o; Misses G. Parsons and J. Mitchell lost to Miss O. Green and Mrs H. Turner, 5—6; Miss D. Boddy and Mrs K. Thompson lost to Mrs Collis and Miss Eglinton, 4—6; Mrs Iv. Thompson and Miss J. Mitchell beat Misses E. and O. Green, 6 —3. On Thursday evening a ping pong match was played between teams representing Town and Country, in the local hall. Some of the games were very close. Town wore the winners by 47 games to 34.
