RISE IN SECURITIES.
CONSOLS HIGH LEVEL,
(British Official Wireless.) Received November 10, 11.25 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 9. Further advances in the price of British Government securities took place on the Stock Exchange to-day. War Loan 31 per cent, closed at £loo 17s 6d and Consols, 2) per cent., at £B6 ss, the highest since 1909. The conversion issue, 31 per cent., rose to £lO7 13s 9d, a new high record, and local loans, 3 per cent., were quoted at £96 12s 6d.
