LORD MAYOR’S SHOW.
PAGEANT IN LONDON

Received November 10, 11.25 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 9. Despite almost continuous rain, large crowds gathered in the streets to witness the Lord Mayor’s Show, the central feature being the procession which accompanied the new Lord Mayor, Sir Stephen Killik, in the famous coach, attended by postillions and footmen, to the Courts of Justice, where tne oath was taken. It was a pageant of London and Londoners based on four novels of Charles Dickens.
