SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.
The Linton Hall presented a gay scene, last evening, for the City Band dance, a large number being present. Dancing was interspersed with musical items. Mrs K. Jones was heard in two pleasing numbers, also Mr G. Potter in humorous items, and Mr Flowers, ventriloquist. The winners of the various prizes were: Military two-step Monte Carlo, Miss Davies and Mr G. Sheridan; Gordon Gordons, Miss McKay and Mr Moyes; lucky door ticket, Miss F. Heard. Mr 0. L. Davies was M.C.
