ROBBERY IN SYDNEY.
HOLD UP IN STREET,
SYDNEY, Nov. 9
While carrying bags of money, the payroll for a local department store at Darlinghurst to-day, two men were attacked by bandits. Pepper was thrown in their eyes and a shot fired. The sum of £2O was taken'
The bandits escaped in a waiting motor-car. The victims of the outrage were George Oakman, aged 66, and Leslie Klyb, aged 44. The former was shot in the groin. The pair are in hospital, and in no danger, but suffering from intense pain from the pepper.
