THE KING’S JUBILEE.
REVIEW OF FLEET
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 7.
Arrangements for the celebrations in connection with next year’s silver jubilee of the King’s accession to the throne are all under active consideration.
The First Lord of the Admiralty (Sir Bolton Eyres Monsell), in the House of Commons, said that, as part of them, the King hoped to review the Fleet at Spithead on July 16, 1935, or, should the weather on' that day be unsuitable, on July 17. The ships to take part in the review had nbt yet been finally selected but, in addition to the Home and part of the reserve fleets, certain units of the Mediterranean Fleet will probably lie present. His Majesty, in his yacht Victoria and Albert, will lead the fleet to sea for exercises on the forenoon of the day following the review.
