AVOIDANCE OF WAR.
MR LANSBURY’S PLAN
LONDON, Nov. 8. Mr G. Lansbory, Leader of the Opposition, in a speech at Gatford, said: I do not intend to ask men serving in the forces to break their oath, but I do ask every mother wife, sister, and sweetheart to do their utmost to keep their male relatives and friends out of the services. If the supply of men willing to fight is cut off there cannot be any more war.”
