BAPTIST MISSION.
VISIT OF PRESIDENT
Miss Becldnsall, the newly elected president of the Baptist Women’s Mission Union, paid a visit to Feikling on Wednesday afternoon and was the guest of the local branch. Miss Beckinsall gave a lengthy account of her work on the mission field and told many stories of quaint experiences with the people, who listened to the Gospel message with keenness. Mrs Noel Robinson contributed vocal, solos during the afternoon. Mrs Page occupied the chair, and afternoon tea was served. Miss Beckinsall was on the mission field in India for nearly 40 years as a Now Zealand missionary, and has only just retired from the work. She is still on duty for the cause, and is touring the Dominion in the interests of the union.
