FURORE IN ALBERTA.
CELEBRATION OF REVOLUTION
Received November 8, 1.10 p.m. EDMONTON (Alberta), Nov. 7. The action of the school board at Blairmoore, a coal-mining town, in declaring a school holiday to mark the seventeenth anniversary of the Russian revolution has created a furore throughout the province. There have been hundreds of protests to the Government, coupled with the demand that the Government school grants be cut off.
