BEGINNING OF SERIES
Bowling matches in the Wednesday pennant competition, with each club liaving one rink at home and one away, commenced yesterday afternoon under very pleasant weather conditions. Results were as follow :

AT MANAWATU GREEN

AT NORTHERN GREEN

AT TERRACE END GREEN
