ALLOCATION OF POINTS PRIZES
The folloiving awards of points prizes have been made in connection with the recent Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association:
Ngaio Cup (most points in draught horse sections). —Donald McKenzie, Woodlands, Masterton. Evening Post Trophy (most points in beef Shorthorns). —D.. J. Holden, Hastings.
Holden Cup (most points in Aberdeen Angus).—L. A. P. Sherriff, Taihgpe. New Zealand Friesian Breeders’ Association Gold Medal (most points in Friesians). —M. J. Parker, Carterton.
Special prize (most points in Jerseys).— R. L. Horn, Ohau.
Co-operative Society’s cup (most points in fat sheep and lambs).- —J. F. McKelvie, Carnarvon. New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association Certificate (most points in Berkshires). —Cheltenham Dairy Co., Makino.
Trophy for most points in open cookery section.—Mrs C. W. Turner, Kairanga. Mr C. P. Nash’s trophy (most points in novice cooking).—Mrs D. Muldrock, Ashhurst.
Special for most points in girls’ cooking (under 16 years).—Joan Wiggins, Ashhurst. Trophy for most points in pickles and preserves.—Mrs A. E. Humphreys, Feilding. Most points trophy in art needlework. —Miss E. Jarman, Feilding.
