AERIAL PAGEANT.
Advice was received in Palmerston North to-day, from Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., that the Minister of Defence is sending three fighting machines to the reception and gala aircraft day for Sqwadron-Deader McGregor and Mr H. C. Walker. r c7ie respective machines are the Gloucester Glebe, a Bristol Fighter, and a Hawker Tomtit. The first machine mentioned, is a particularly fast fighter, having a cruising speed of 175 miles per hour. This particular type of fighting craft has never been seen here before. These machines will, give a special fighting display, the like of which is very seldom seen in t.ne nonunion.
