RAILWAY GRANT.
FOR IMPROVEMENT IN NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, Aug. 3. The Premier of New South Wales (Mr B. S. B. Stevens) announces that about £2,000,000, will be made available this year for improving the State railway services and renewing equipment. The scheme will provide additional employment for many industries.
