MUSICAL SUCCESS.
Advice has been received from the Trinity College of Music, London, that Frank Perry, a pupil of the Convent of Mercy, Palmerston North, has gained an exhibition to the value of £9 9s for the highest marks in New Zealand in tho higher local pianoforte examination. This clever pupil obtained almost full marks in both the practical and theoretical tests, gaining 91 in the former and 98 in the latter.
