FEILDINE SALE.
DEMAND FOR DAIRY STOCK. A heavy yarding of 3000 fat lambs eased slightly the prices at to-day’s Feilding sale, the quality not being quite up to last week’s level. No ewes or wethers had been offered up to 1 p.m. Dairy stock met with a better demand, prices being at market values. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: Fat lambs, 18s lOd, 19s 9d, 20s lOd, 21s lid, 22s 7d, 23s 9d to 25s Id. Dairy cattle: Springing cows, £1 16s, £2, £3 12s 6d to £4 10s. Cows in milk £2, £3 5s to £3 15s; springing heifers, £2 7s 6d, £3 to £3 10s; heifers in milk, £3 Is. ,
