OBSERVATION BY CORONER. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, May -4. In finding a verdict of accidental death with no blame attachable to anyone regarding the level crossing fatality at Waikiwi in which Henry G. Brass, a stock buyer, was killed, the Coroner (Mr E. C. Levvy) remarked: “This is another of a series of very regrettable accidents which have been happening at level crossings. The visibility from the road is undoubtedly bad and I think I should draw the local bodies’, attention to the section of, tho Public Works Act which empowers such bodies to have obstructions removed so as to provide a clear view of crossings.
