WEDNESDAY A GRADE FINAL.
The final of the Manawatu Wednesday A grade competition was played at Bulls, last week, between the Palmerston North and Bulls Clubs. Palnjorston North won by 16 games, the sots being equal. Following are the details, Bulls players boing mentioned first:—Men’s singles.—P. Ralfe sv. O Brien 9; F. Ralfe 9 v. Duckworth 11; Fitchos 9 v. Tapp 3; M. C. Gould 2 v. McKenzie 9. Ladies’ singles.—Mrs Ralfo 4 v. Mrs Allan 7; Mrs Armstrong 2 v. Mrs Yates 7; Miss Glasgow 7 v. Miss N. Smillio 5; Mrs Clarke R v. Miss N. Flannagan 6. Men’s doubles.—Ralfo and Ralfe 7 v. O’Brien and Duckworth 9; Fitches and Gould 2 v. Tapp and McKenzie 9. Ladies’ doubles.—Mesdames Ralfo and Armstrong 7 v. Mesdames Allan and Yates 5; Mrs Clarke and Miss Glasgow 7 v.
