Time, 1.38 2-5. AN ENQUIRY. An enquiry was held into the riding of Gigantic in the Highweight Handicap. Evidence was given that the horse was ridden by F. Thomson to instructions by the owner and trainer. The committee found that the instructions were practically carried out by the jockey, who did not use his best judgment.
