AUSTRALIANS IN FRANCE. PARIS, April 6. The Mayor of Villers-Bretonneux, welcoming Australian representatives visiting the cemetery, said “Your children lie buried in ground hallowed by their gallantry 7. The Mayor of VillersBretonneux is appealing for local subscriptions to defray the cost of recording the town’s gratitude to the Australians, the inscriptions to be made on the Rock of Remembrance within the shrine.
