OBITUARY.
SIR ROBERT PEEL. Received April 7, 9.15 a.m. LONDON, April 6. The death is announoed of Sir Arthur Robert Peel, K.C.M.G., aged 73 years. Born in 1861, Sir Robert Peel sawconsiderable diplomatic service between 1886 and 1921, when he retired from the post of Minister Plenipotentiary in Bulgaria. He w-as knighted in 1917. He represented the British Government at Petrograd, Washington, Buenos Aires, The Hague (on two occasions), Lisbon, Monte Video, Bangkok aipl Brazil, and was Consul-General for Crete in 1906.
