THE WRESTLING SEASON.
ARRAY OF TALENT. The New Zealand Wrestling Union has arranged for a strong team of overseas matmen to engage in matches in the Dominion this coming winter season and included therein are manj well-known exponents in other quarters of the world. Increased interest will also be given to their appearance by. the range of nationalities included, Japanese, Chinese, Bulgarians, French and other foreign contestants being down to appear before Dominion enthusiasts. Last year the Wellington and Auckland Wrestling Associations were particularly active, each centre staging 19 matches, but Palmerston ians were treated to six bouts of excellent calibre and there is every hope that the local controlling authorities will again exercise their wise judgment this season.
