CUP WON BY PAUL DRUSUS
After an interval of some years, trotting- again made its ■ appearance at Awapuni to-day, wlien the Manawatu Trotting Club returned to its original home for its annual fixture. Beautiful weather conditions, together with the presence ot New Zealand’s champion pacer, Harold Logan, who is the holder of the two-mile time record, attracted a large crowd ot enthusiasts of both branches of the turf sport to the beautiful course and indications were apparent early that an excellent programme would be presented. . There were also flat racing meetings in progress at Avondale, Hastings and Greymouth.
