JAPAN NOT ANXIOUS. SPIRIT OF ALLIANCE. FOREIGN MINISTER’S REFERENCE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 14, 9.45 a.m. TOKIO, March 13. The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Mr K. Hirota) told a Lower House committee that the Japanese Government does not entertain the slightest anxiety regarding the Singapore Base, the necessity for which will disappear when Far Eastern peace is firmly established. The Anglo-Japanese alliance had lapsed, but the spirit mutually remained. The Lower House passed the Budget providing 21,000,000 yen for farm Fork.
