MONTH’S REST ORDERED. TEMPORARY PORTFOLIO CHANGE (By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, March 14. The Minuister of Employment and Postmaster-General (Hon. A. Hamilton) lias been ordered by his medical adviser to_ take a month’s rest from active duties. He will spend a week at the seaside near Paekakariki and then proceed to his home. His health has been indifferent for some time, owing to close and constant attention to office work. The Prime Minister states that Hon. J. Bitchener (Minister of Public Works) will temporarily administer the Employment portfolio, which requires very active attention, but Hon. Mr Hamilton is' sufficiently well to continue in touch with his other departments.
