INVESTIGATION OF BANKS.

A sweeping investigation of the banks has been decided upon by the House of Commons Banking and Commerce Committee. The investigation is aimed especially at interlocking between the directorates of th ; e banks, industries and trust companies, and the relationship of the banks to the wheat pools and inflation is to be scrutinised.
