The executive of the Commercial Policy Committee concerned with the ways and means of developing foreign trade has decided to allow the importation of liquor from Canada and other countries for a four months’ period on quotas based on the 1910-1914 average for each country. The import policy will become effective when the rejjeal of the Eighteenth Amendment becomes operative on Tuesday.
