INCREASE IN BIRTHS. Births recorded bv'the Registrar of Vital Statistics at Palmerston North during .November showed an increase of over 50 per cent, compared with the figures for the corresponding month of last year. Mortality figures showed a slight decline, and there were nine fewer marriages. Comparative figures
