SHOTGUN ACCIDENT.

YOUTH’S HAND INJURED. Severe injuries to his left hand were reecived by Douglas Bodern, aged 18, last evening, when, it is understood, he was rabbit shooting with a shotgun. The accident took place near Foxton, and Bordern was admitted to the Hospital at about 8.30 p.m. An operation was performed, and, although it is understood that the injuries are extensive, it was not possible for the authorities to-day to state their exact nature. The youth was reported to be progressing as well as could be expected. It is understood that Bordern’s parents reside at 66 Moxham Avenue, Hataitai, Wellington.
