REDUCED DIVORCE LIST.
ECHO OF DEPRESSION. Received November 30, 1.50 p.m. CHICAGO, Nov. 29. A message from Reno states that the depression has caused a 500,000 dollar shortage in the divorce business there this year with an estimated 25 percent. decline in divorces. Whereas last year 3105 couples were divorced, this year there were about 2200. While the other States have now liberalised their divorce laws, it is believed that lack of funds has caused the diminution.
