BUILDING OPERATIONS.
FIGURES FOR OCTOBER. Representing an aggregate value of £5560, fifteen building permits were issued by tlie Palmerston North City Council during the month ended today, including authority for seven new dwellings, involving an outlay of £4397. The returns are slightly higher than those for the corresponding period of last year, when 18 permits of a total value of £'4709 were issued, among these being three new dwellings at a cost of £1960.
