KAIRANGA-BUNNYTHORPE ROAD.
At present work is in progress on the Kairanga-Bunnythorpe Road, from Setter’s Line to the railway at Bunny thorpe, gangs preparing the surface for sealing. The total distance is about two miles and it is hoped that the whole of it will be covered. From Palmerston North via Rangitikei. Line, the Kairanga-Bunny-thorpe ltoad and Railway Road to Feiiding the road surface is sealed with bitumen except the two miles referred to. Workmen are engaged in banking up the sides of the road, and forming and rolling the surface. When this is done, crushed metal will be spread and treated with oil.
