MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court to-day, B. E. ltoos was charged that, between September 1 and October 20, he lrad received various sums of money of a total value of £3, the property of the Tiratu Sawmilling Coy., but which he had failed to account for. A plea of guilty was entered. Senior-Detective Quirke stated that accused was. a married man with a family, but if given a chance he was prepared to refund the amount. Nothing was known against him. The Magistrate decided to give accused a chance and ordered him to come up for sentence at any time within 12 months. A month was allowed in which to make restitution.
