GRAVE ANXIETY.
YOUTH AND RELIGION. POSITION IN GERMANY. Received October 30, 8.30 a.m. VATICAN CITY, Oct. 29. His Holiness the Pope, when addressing a German pilgrimage, said : “I am gravely anxious regarding youth and religion in Germany. Nevertheless, I am temperamentally optimistic. You must remain calm, but watch and pray.”
