POST IN THE SOUDAN. Received October 30, 11.10 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 29. Lieut.-Colonel Sir George Stewart Symes, 1v.8.E., has been appointed Governor-General of the Soudan. He lias been Resident and Commander-in-Cliief at Aden since 1928.
